Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Rollstuhl für Behinderte und Kranke, bei dem zwei Räder mit je einem elektromotorischen Antrieb verbunden sind und jedes der beiden angetriebenen Räder gegenüber dem Stuhlgestell abgefedert gelagert ist.The invention relates to a wheelchair for the disabled and the sick, in which two wheels are each connected to an electric motor drive and each of the two driven wheels is cushioned against the chair frame.
Bei einem derartig ausgeführten, aus der DE-A 3 414 204 bekannt gewordenen Rollstuhl sind die Räder einzeln angetrieben und abgefedert, wobei die Antriebs- und Federausführung verhältnismäßig aufwendig und somit kostenspielig ist, denn jedes Rad ist an einer zusätzlichen Schwinge drehbar gelagert, die einenends am Stuhlgelenk schwenkbar lagert und anderenends mit einem zwischen Stuhlgestell und Schwinge angeordneten Stoßdämpfer federnd verbunden ist.

Claims (1)
- Wheelchair for disabled persons and invalids, on which two wheels are connected to a respective motor-operated drive and each of the two powered wheels is suspension-mounted relative to the chair frame, characterised in that- the two rear wheels (1) are powered,- an electric drive unit (2) sits on the wheel axle (6) of each rear wheel (1),- the resilient mounting of each rear wheel (1) is constituted by a telescoping spring (4) in the form of a gas pressure spring or a shock absorber with one end articulated in an axle (5) of the drive unit (2) and with the other end articulated in an axle (7) of the chair frame (3),and- the two drives (2) are movably linked to the chair frame (3) by way of respective ball-jointed bars (8) articulated with one end at the drive (2) and the other end at a central strut (3a) forming part of the chair frame, and are secured against axial torsion with respect to said chair frame.
