Abstract

A carrying handle device has a carrying handle (48) which is mounted with pivoting movement on a holding body (10) provided for the attachment to a container. The ends of the carrying handle (48) engage in a groove (16) which is open towards the container. The carrying handle (48) is supported in an approximately horizontal position on the holding body (10) via stops.
