Der dargestellte Sitz umfaßt das eigentliche Sitzteil 1 und eine Rückenlehne 2, die beide relativ zueinander verstellbar sein kön nen. Die unterhalb des Sitzteils 1 angeordneten Verstell- und Feststelleinrichtungen dienen zum einen der Verstellung des Sit zes in Fahrzeuglängsrichtung, zum anderen einer Höhenverstellung des Sitzes, genauer gesagt einer Neigungsverstellung des Sitzes 1. Die Feststelleinrichtungen sind im einzelnen nicht darge stellt, sie sind jedoch in verschiedenen Ausführungsformen be kannt. Zur Längsverstellung dient eine Schienenanordnung, beste hend aus je einer (d. h. links und rechts angeordneten) sitzteil festen Oberschiene 3 und je einer, in einen vorderen Abschnitt 4 und einen hinteren Abschnitt 5 unterteilten Unterschiene. Die vordere Unterschiene 4 ist um eine fahrzeugfeste erste Querachse 6 schwenkbar und stützt sich dabei auf einem fahrzeugfesten Quer träger 7 ab, der als Seitenaufprallträger ausgebildet ist und als solcher die Folgen eines Seitencrashs für die Fahrzeuginsassen mildern soll.The seat shown comprises the actual seat part 1 and a backrest 2 , both of which can be adjustable relative to one another. In der Stellung a ist der Sitz, genau er gesagt die Sitzhinterkante, am weitesten abgesenkt und in der hintersten Position. Durch leichtes Anheben der Sitzhinterkante, was in der Praxis durch Federkraft erfolgt, nachdem die entspre chende Feststelleinrichtung gelöst worden ist, nimmt der Sitz die Stellung b ein; dabei bleibt die Lage der Sitzvorderkante prak tisch unverändert. Durch weiteres Anheben der Sitzhinterkante ge langt diese bei senkrecht stehender Schwinge 8 in ihre höchstmög liche Stellung c mit dann horizontal liegenden Schienen 3, 4, 5. So ist es denkbar, in einer gewählten Sitzposition die beiden Un terschienen 4, 5 mit der Oberschiene 3 zu verrasten, eine spezi elle Verdrehsicherung erübrigt sich dann. Eine andere Möglichkeit ist die, im Bereich des Gelenkes 9 eine kombinierte Feststellein richtung vorzusehen, die sowohl Dreh- als auch Verschiebebewegun gen an dieser Stelle verhindert; damit sind auch Dreh- und Ver schiebebewegungen an anderen Stellen ausgeschlossen.The fixing of the seat, which is necessary when driving, is carried out using suitable locking devices.
