In the radiotherapy process of tumor patients, body position fixation is a very important link. It relates to the accuracy of patient radiotherapy and whether normal tissue can be effectively protected. Typically, the patient is treated with radiation in a prone position, with the most commonly used being the supine position. Because in the state of lying on back, the patient feels more comfortable, can keep the stability of health for a long time, avoid involuntary removal to guarantee the accuracy of radiotherapy position.
However, some patients are limited by the disease or physical factors of the patient, such as severe superior vena cava syndrome, severe pain due to bone metastasis or severe humpback, and the patient cannot take a lying posture and is forced to take a sitting posture for radiotherapy. However, no position fixing device specially designed for sitting radiotherapy patients is found in the market at present. Without the aid of the fixing device, it is difficult for the patient to keep his body stable for the whole duration of the radiotherapy, which increases the risk of radiotherapy. Therefore, the problem that patients who need sitting posture radiotherapy have a risk of posture fixation needs to be solved.
