A storage type iron frame bed with a variable area is shown in figures 1-4 and comprises a base 1, a supporting cabinet 2, a first bed board 3, a second bed board 31, a rotating board 32, a storage mechanism 4 and a supporting mechanism 5, wherein the supporting cabinet 2 is fixedly connected to the middle of the rear side of the top of the base 1, the rotating board 32 is rotatably connected between the lower portions of the left side face and the right side face in the supporting cabinet 2, the front side face of the rotating board 32 is provided with the first bed board 3 and the second bed board 31 in a sliding mode, the first bed board 3 and the second bed board 31 are matched with each other, the supporting mechanism 5 is arranged on the front side of the bottoms of the first bed board 3 and the second bed board 31, and the storage mechanism 4 is arranged between the rear side of the rotating board 32 and the rear.
