Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a pad for a diaper changing station.
Background
There is known a diaper changing table as a table for changing diapers for infants, which is installed on a wall surface of a toilet or the like of a public facility such as a train station (for example, patent document 1). The diaper changing table described in patent document 1 is a so-called folding cloth changing table having a flat plate-like changing table main body, a mat which is provided on the changing table main body and on which an infant or a young child lies, and a base which is fixed to a wall surface and rotatably supports the changing table main body. Therefore, the diaper changing table can be switched between an unused state in which the changing table main body is disposed parallel to the wall surface and a used state in which the changing table main body is disposed perpendicular to the wall surface, that is, horizontally.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Corresponding elements are denoted by common reference numerals throughout the drawings.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a diaper changing station 1, and fig. 2 is a plan view of the diaper changing station 1 of fig. 1.
The diaper changing station 1 has a changing station body 2 and a pad 3. The exchange table main body 2 includes two side plates 21, a top plate 22 provided between the two side plates 21, a back plate 23 provided between the two side plates 21, and a partition plate 24 provided on the top plate 22. The partition plate 24 partitions the space above the top plate 22 into a space in which infants and small children are disposed and a space in which articles such as cargoes are disposed. The upper end portions of the side plates 21, the back plate 23, and the dividing plate 24 are formed to have the same or substantially the same height. In addition, the back plate 23 may be omitted. Instead of the back plate 23, a support member such as a beam may be disposed between the two side plates 21.
In the diaper changing operation, an infant is laid on the mat 3 so that the head is arranged on the upper side and the feet are arranged on the lower side in fig. 2 and fig. 4 described later. The worker who changes the diaper stands at the lower side in fig. 2 and 4 with respect to the diaper changing station 1, thereby performing the diaper changing work.
The mat 3 has: a flat plate-like and rectangular cushion body 31, two side wall portions 32 provided at respective edge portions of two opposing sides of the cushion body 31, and a back wall portion 33 provided at an edge portion of one of the remaining sides of the cushion body 31. The cushion 3 further includes a first regulating portion 34 having a protruding shape, and the first regulating portion 34 having a protruding shape is provided at or near an edge portion of the other remaining one side of the cushion body 31 in the cushion body 31. The pad 3 further includes two second restricting portions 35 in a protruding shape, and the two second restricting portions 35 in a protruding shape are provided at positions corresponding to the vicinity of the side surface of the body of the infant to be placed on the pad body 31. A fastening tape 36 for fastening an infant to the pad body 31 is disposed between the two second restrictions 35, so that diaper replacement work can be easily performed. The fixing band 36 can be easily fastened and unfastened by a buckle.
The first regulating portion 34 has a half shape obtained by dividing the column in the vertical direction, and is provided so that the longitudinal direction of the column is parallel to one side of the pad main body 31. The first restriction portion 34 is provided across the length of one side of the pad main body 31. The mat 3 has the first restriction portion 34, and thus can be locked to the hip or the foot of the infant, and further, the sliding of the infant outward of the mat main body 31, that is, the movement of the infant to the front side can be restricted for the worker.
Specifically, although the infant is laid on the pad 3 during the diaper changing operation, the hip of the infant is disposed inside the first stopper 34 on the pad body 31. Therefore, even if the infant wants to move to the near side, the movement of the infant is restricted by the engagement of the buttocks with the first restricting portion 34, and the infant can be prevented from falling off the mat 3.
The diaper changing table 1 can be used as a table for taking off or putting on shoes or socks in a state where an infant or a baby (hereinafter, referred to as "infant or the like") is seated, as well as for changing a diaper. Further, the table may be used as a table on which an infant or the like is temporarily seated for the work of the worker himself or herself.
Specifically, when an infant or the like is seated on the pad body 31 of the pad 3, the buttocks are disposed inside the first regulating portion 34. Therefore, in the legs of an infant or the like, the leg portions are suspended downward from the edge portions of the pad main body 31 in a state where the thigh portions are disposed on the first regulating portions 34. Therefore, the worker can easily put on and take off the shoes or the socks with respect to the feet of the infant or the like. At this time, even if the infant or the like wants to move to the near side, the movement of the infant or the like is restricted by the engagement of the hip portion with the first restricting portion 34, and the infant or the like can be prevented from falling off the mat 3.
The second restriction portion 35 is a semicircular projection. The mat 3 has two second restricting portions 35, and thus movement of the infant in the right-left direction can be restricted. Specifically, although the infant is laid on the mat 3 during the diaper changing operation, the second regulating portion 35 becomes an obstacle even if the infant wants to move in the left-right direction, and thus the movement of lateral shift or turning is difficult. Therefore, the worker can easily perform the diaper changing work. Further, since the movement of the infant in the left-right direction is restricted by the second restricting portion 35, the worker can easily fix the infant by the fixing band 36 as needed, and thus the diaper changing work can be performed more safely and reliably.
The first restriction portion 34 may have any shape or arrangement as long as it can be locked to the hip or the foot of the infant to restrict the infant from sliding outward of the pad main body 31. For example, as the first regulating portion, a plurality of circular protrusions may be arranged along one side of the pad main body 31. The first restriction portion 34 may be provided integrally with the pad main body 31 or may be provided separately from the pad main body 31. Preferably, the pad main body 31 and the first restriction portion 34 are not formed or connected as a continuous plane or curved surface.
The second restricting portion 35 may have any shape or arrangement as long as it can restrict movement of the infant in the right-left direction. For example, the second restriction portion may have a semicircular shape, a circular shape, or a hemispherical protrusion. The second restriction portion 35 may be provided integrally with the cushion body 31 or may be provided separately from the cushion body 31. Preferably, the pad main body 31 and the second restriction portion 35 are not formed or connected as a continuous plane or curved surface.
The mat 3 is configured to be fitted into one space on the top plate 22 partitioned by the partition plate 24. That is, the pad body 31, the one side wall portion 32, the back wall portion 33, and the other side wall portion 32 of the pad 3 are disposed in close contact with the top plate 22, the one side plate 21, the back plate 23, and the dividing plate 24 of the exchange table body 2, respectively. The pad main body 31 is formed to extend outward, i.e., forward beyond the top plate 22 so as to cover the forward end surface of the top plate 22. The entire exposed portion of the mat 3 is covered with a cushioning member having cushioning properties.
The side wall portion 32 and the back wall portion 33 of the mat 3 are configured to extend upward from the upper end portion of the changing table body 2 of the diaper changing table 1 in which the mat 3 is disposed, that is, the upper end portion of any one of the side plate 21, the back plate 23, and the dividing plate 24. Therefore, the limbs or the head of the infant disposed on the mat 3 come into contact with the side wall 32 and the back wall 33 of the cushion 3 having cushioning properties before the limbs or the head of the infant comes into contact with the side plate 21, the back plate 23, and the dividing plate 24 of the hard changing table main body 2, and therefore, the infant can be prevented from being injured.
The mat 3 as a whole has a rectangular shape, but may have a shape other than a rectangular shape, for example, a circular shape. That is, the pad may be configured as desired as long as the pad includes a pad main body, a first regulating portion that is provided in the pad main body in a protruding shape at or near the edge portion of the pad main body and that is a first regulating portion that is locked to the hip or the foot of the infant to regulate the outward sliding of the infant toward the pad main body, and a side wall portion that is provided at the edge portion of the pad main body other than the edge portion. Although the diaper changing station 1 is not a so-called folding diaper changing station, the cushion 3 may also be applied to a folding diaper changing station.
In the space on the top plate 22 divided by the dividing plate 24, articles such as goods can be disposed in the space on the opposite side to the side on which the mat 3 is disposed. By providing the dividing plate 24, articles such as bags can be prevented from falling onto an infant lying on the mat 3, and therefore, the infant can be prevented from being injured. Further, since the upper end portions of the side plates 21, the upper end portion of the back plate 23, and the upper end portion of the dividing plate 24 are configured to have the same or substantially the same height, the space in which the articles are disposed is entirely surrounded by the wall, and thus not only falling over the infant but also falling off of the articles from the top plate 22 can be prevented.
The height of the dividing plate 24 and the height of the side plate 21 and the back plate 23 with respect to the top plate 22 are, for example, 15 cm. As described above, the side wall portion 32 and the back wall portion 33 of the mat 3 are configured to extend upward from the upper end portion of the changing table body 2 of the diaper changing table 1 in which the mat 3 is disposed, that is, the upper end portion of any one of the side plate 21, the back plate 23, and the dividing plate 24. The height of the side wall portion 32 and the back wall portion 33 of the mat 3 with respect to the top plate 22 is, for example, 18 cm.
Since the diaper changing station 1 has a space for disposing articles, it is not necessary to provide a separate cargo table at the same time as a rack on which a worker who changes diapers temporarily places goods such as bags during the changing work. That is, the diaper changing station 1 can be manufactured at low cost and can also be provided with goods, as compared with a case where the diaper changing station and the goods station are manufactured separately.
In detail, in the case where the diaper changing table and the cargo table are separately manufactured and are simultaneously disposed in the installation space, the diaper changing table and the cargo table have at least four side plates as a whole. Further, since the two side plates are adjacent to each other or abut against each other, they are unnecessary as separate members for the diaper changing table and the cargo table.
On the other hand, since the diaper changing table 1 described above includes the two side plates 21, the top plate 22 provided between the two side plates 21, and the dividing plate 24 provided on the top plate 22, it is possible to ensure both a space for disposing an infant and a space for disposing articles while being independent with a minimum configuration. This also suppresses the material cost. Further, since the space above the top plate 22 is divided into two by the single dividing plate 24 disposed above the top plate 22, the space below the top plate 22 sandwiched between the two side plates 21 can be secured. The space under the top plate 22 can accommodate, for example, cargo or a stroller, and the installation space can be effectively utilized.
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of another diaper changing station 4, and fig. 4 is a perspective view of the diaper changing station 4 of fig. 3.
The diaper changing station 4 has a changing station body 5 and the above-described pad 3. The exchange table main body 5 includes two side plates 51, a top plate 52 provided between the two side plates 51, and a back plate 53 provided between the two side plates 51. The upper end of the side plate 51 and the upper end of the back plate 53 are configured to have the same or substantially the same height. In addition, the back plate 53 may be omitted. Instead of the back plate 53, a support member such as a beam may be disposed between the two side plates 51.
Since the diaper changing station 4 differs in that it does not have a space for arranging articles as compared with the diaper changing station 1 of fig. 1, it is more compact than the diaper changing station 1 of fig. 1, and thus is suitable for being disposed in a place where space is limited.
