Patent application HOODED GARMENT HOOD SUPPORT
This invention will allow the hood on a hooded garment the ability to be styled and placed in a variety of shapes desired by the user DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A flexible material is inserted in to the drawstring channel of the hood on a garment. This material should run from one side of the hood to the other side.
The purpose of this material is to support the weight of the fabric at the front of the hood and to maintain the shape of the face opening. An example of this would be to prevent the hood from sagging.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF CONSTRUCTION OF PROTOTYPE
Fig #1 & Fig #2: The flexible material used in this prototype is a peace of wire which is feed trough the drawstring channel of the hood.
Fig #3 & Fig #5: Shows how I looped and clamped the wire for safety reasons.
Fig #4 & Fig #6: Shows how I permanently affixed the wire to the garment.
