Why Choose Us?

Our trusted online first aid courses are created and reviewed by a team of medical, emergency, and first aid professionals to ensure they stay up to date and accurate.

Courses are delivered in clear, simple English and designed for all learners — including those with English as a second language. You can study at your own pace, on any device, with expert tuition and quick-response support.

With CPD accreditation, downloadable certificates, and essential life-saving skills, you’ll complete your course feeling confident and prepared.

CPD and HSE Appointed Level Person Certificates

When you complete our courses, you’ll earn CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points and an HSE Appointed Level Person certificate. CPD is recognised across healthcare, education, and many other sectors as proof you’re keeping your skills current. The HSE certificate shows you’ve been trained to the standard required by UK health and safety law for workplace first aiders.

Employers actively look for candidates with up-to-date first aid training, and many roles require it by law. Having these qualifications on your CV shows you take professional development seriously and you’re prepared to handle emergencies.

You can download your certificates immediately after passing and use them to meet workplace requirements. They’re valid, verifiable proof that you’ve completed proper training.

Practical Courses

Onlinefirstaid.com courses award an HSE Appointed Person Qualification, with certificates valid for 3 years. This is suitable for most individuals and small businesses to comply with HSE requirements in a low risk environment.

If you require a practical or regulated first aid qualification, this can be arranged through our sister company First Aid for Life, by clicking the link below. To be a First Aider, you should choose our fully regulated EFAW or FAW qualifications, regulated through Qualsafe Awards to provide HSE and Ofqual certification.

If you need to be Ofsted or EYFS registered as a child carer, you should choose our 12 hour Full Paediatric Qualification.

Testimonials

“Have been on the St Johns Ambulance 3 day courses and 2 day refresher courses over the last 20 years but have learned so much more on your course. Really enjoyed the complete course, you are a excellent teacher 5 stars all the way.”
Ronald Barnet, Sevenoaks

“Found this online course very helpful, we are looking to role these out for additional training to complement our Level 2 and Level 3 FAW courses. Very well put together and a valuable training resource.”

Gary Barlow, Newquay

The quality of this course is, in my opinion, excellent. Teaching and practical interpretation is very easy to understand. For me, as a non-native English-speaking individuals, this course is an excellent source how to obtain the necessary knowledge in this area and their potential use in practice.”
Miluse Korbelova, Woking

“I had previously attended week long first aid courses, which were frankly expensive and full of 3 days of padding.
This online course was excellent-derailed where it needed to be, but otherwise concise. The quizzes were a great knowledge check. I will be using this course for my future employees.”

Russ Shopland, Folkestone
