.SYNOPSIS...A front develops off of the mid- Atlantic coast early
today and low pressure develops along it late today. As high
pressure builds E over the N waters, a cold front associated with
the low moves slowly S over the S waters through Thu with another
low developing along the front off of the SE U.S. coast. The low
moves well off into the North Atlantic by Fri. Weak high pressure
will build over the entire area late Fri, then a strong cold
front approaches from the NW Fri night. The front moves into the
waters by Sat as low pressure develops along the front off of the
mid- Atlantic coast Fri night, broadening and intensifying well
offshore Sat and Sat night. Another cold front will move offshore
Fri night with explosive low development along the Gulf Stream
Sat into Sat night. The low will rapidly deepen as it moves E of
the area Sat night. High pressure will build over the waters Sun
and Sun night. Mariners should monitor later forecasts especially
for next weekend.
