beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...A cold front will slowly move S 
over the S waters tonight through Thu with a low developing 
along the front off of the SE U.S. coast. The low moves well off 
into the North Atlantic by Fri. A strong cold front approaches 
from the NW Fri night. By Sat low pressure develops along the 
front off of the mid- Atlantic with explosive low development 
along the Gulf Stream Sat into Sat night. The low will rapidly 
deepen as it moves E of the area Sat night. High pressure will 
build over the waters Sun and Sun night. A weak cold front will
move SE over the northern waters Mon into Mon night. Mariners 
should monitor later forecasts especially for next weekend.
