Rules of conduct
when renting a bicycle

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our customers, we ask you to carefully read and follow these rules when renting a bike through us.

1. Safety and liability

• Cycling is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.
• Helmets are recommended and included in the rental.
• Traffic rules must be respected, and cycling must only take place on permitted roads and paths.
• When driving at night, use the bicycle's lights.

2. Handling of the bicycle

• The bicycle must be handled with care and returned in the same condition as when collected.
• Any damage or loss of equipment must be reported immediately. The customer may be liable for damages in case of negligence.
• Never leave the bike unlocked or unattended. In the event of theft, the customer may be liable for compensation.

3. Time and return

• The bike must be returned at the agreed time. Late return may incur an additional fee.
• Make sure that all equipment (helmet, locks, keys, etc.) is included in the return.

4. Nature and environment

• Show consideration for other road users, pedestrians and wildlife.
• Rubbish must be taken back and disposed of in the designated place.
• Cycling is prohibited in nature protection areas where access is restricted.
