Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-Paterson) has received the support of the New Jersey State Building and Construction Trades Council in his bid for a 15th term in the U.S. House of Representatives.
“Bill Pascrell has always been there for our members and so today we are proud to stand with Bill,” said New Jersey State Building and Construction Trades Council President Bill Mullen. “Whether it be his support for the PRO Act to reinvigorate organizing, or the historic roads and bridges law that has brought hundreds of millions to our state, or countless other issues, the working men and women of New Jersey need Bill Pascrell returned to Congress.”
Pascrell faces his first serious primary challenge in a dozen years against Prospect Park Mayor Mohamad Khairullah. At age 87, he would become the oldest member of the House if he’s re-elected.
“No one is stronger on providing tax fairness for New Jersey families and no one is stronger defeating trade agreements that gut American jobs,” Mullen said.
