Own a piece of photographic history thanks to an upcoming Square Print Sale by Magnum Photos. Magnum, the iconic photography cooperative founded by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Capa, and others, has teamed up with Aperture for a sale featuring work by some of their most well-known photographers. Selected by the artists themselves, the sale features everything from a portrait of James Dean to one of Steve McCurry’s classic examples of street photography.

Youth is the uniting theme of the collection, with the images capturing everything from well-known celebrities in their prime to the joy of childhood. “This selection reminds us of our own beginnings, encapsulating how being youthful is not only an era in our lives but a state of mind,” shares Magnum in a statement about the sale.

In a nod to Aperture’s work as a hub for photography, the sale features photographers whose works are published in both historic and contemporary publications. The proceeds of the sale will not only go toward supporting the artists, but will also assist in Aperture’s nonprofit publishing and public programming across the globe.

Starting at $110, the 6-inch-by-6-inch prints will be available via the Magnum shop from October 20 until October 26, 2025. The images are currently available to preview, so interested buyers can peruse the more than 100 incredible photographs that will be on offer for one week only.

Scroll down to see a selection of some of our favorites from the sale and then head over to Magnum to make your selection.
