He runs into the Count, and asks if he has gotten everybody ready for a surprise. He has, but before they can bring the gifts to Gabi, he must count all of the presents. Since it's Gabi's birthday, he decides to count them in Spanish but briefly forgets how to translate "seven." The weight of the presents starts getting heavier on Elmo's hands, but once the Count finishes counting all ten presents, Elmo can't stand it anymore and collapses. |

The deliverer sings her a Spanish telegram, though she doesn't know what it means; Maria explains it is a Puerto Rican birthday greeting. Gabi opens the package, which contains a pogo stick sent from her grandmother. The deliverer also learns Gabi is sick, and reiterates that it's okay to be sad on her birthday. "Somehow, I had a feeling she was gonna say that," Gabi deadpans. |

The Count repeats it's okay for Gabi to be sad, but Gabi isn't sad - she's very happy! The big group sings the song again as Bob announces the sponsors in voiceover. |
