	SCENE 1	As Luis works on Dr. Kruger's toaster at the Fix-It Shop, Gina and Big Bird frantically bring in a small kitten they found abandoned in the vacant lot on 12th Street. They've put her in a shoebox to rest and say she has no sign of a mother, and is so small and weak she can hardly even walk. Luis phones Mr. Minetti from the local pet shop for advice.

	SCENE 2	Big Bird and Gina have relocated the kitten into a larger warmer box and tell Maria about what happened while Luis goes out to the pet store. He returns with some baby food for the kitten, who has a chance to get better since she's old enough to eat on her own. For now, Maria begins to spoon-feed her as Big Bird tells the weak kitten not to worry - they'll be the temporary mommies.

	SCENE 4	Elmo and Big Bird watch the kitten while Luis fetches some things. Elmo wants to play and makes a guessing game of the various items Luis brings into the Fix-It Shop - a pillow, blanket, a cot, pajamas, a robe, alarm clock, and toothbrush. The two put the clues together and assume Luis will be sleeping in the shop tonight. Luis confirms this, as the kitten will need to be fed every couple of hours and it's too cold outside to do so.

He then thinks he could set his alarm every two hours and wake up Luis on his own, but finds that would be very tiring. With Maria's help, his final idea is one everyone can agree with - they can take turns waking up to feed the kitten.
