SCENE 1 | In the Fix-It Shop, David plays a computer game with Elmo (Kevin Clash), who discerns whether the items shown onscreen are the same or different. David wraps up the game after a few rounds, but he tells Elmo that he doesn't need a computer to play the same/different game and takes him to Hooper's Store. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | David points Elmo to an assortment of cans on the store counter and tasks him with finding cans that are the same and different. David briefly steps outside to clear a table in the yard. As he heads back to the store, he overhears Elmo muttering "same" over and over, and discovers that he's removed all of the can labels, so now they all look the same! Elmo thanks David for the nice game and leaves, while David glumly tries to figure out which can is which. |

SCENE 2 | Buster the Horse greets Oscar and asks how he's enjoying the day. Oscar responds negatively, complaining about the lack of smog and noisy traffic. Buster calls Oscar contrary, a term Oscar is unfamiliar with. After Buster defines it for him, Oscar confirms that he is contrary. However, Buster points out that he just agreed with him, which isn't very contrary. Oscar can't decide whether he wants to agree or not, which, in Buster's words, renders him confused. Oscar then gives several synonyms for "Go away and don't bother me," and Buster promptly trots off. Oscar grumbles, "Just what I don't need around here, a horse with a galloping tongue." |
