- Flowing liquids now take on the appearance of smooth slopes with a flowing texture on top.
- Still liquids now have a vertex offset applied, meaning that the corners of some liquid blocks can reach up to a full block in height.
- Buckets can now pick up full liquids which are behind a flowing liquid block.
- Texture[verify for Java Edition] changed from
. - Now generates naturally in caves, replacing all air below Y=12.
- Lava now only spreads 4 blocks instead of 8.

- Coastlines are now more gradual, making oceans generally smaller.
- Trees no longer have logs inside of leaves.
