BGUK_3464013 - Los Angeles, CA Finn Wolfhard???s Saturday Night Live monologue crashed by Stranger Things co-stars Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo. Finn Wolfhard???s SNL monologue was crashed by two of his best-known co-stars. Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo, who starred on Stranger Things with Wolfhard, joined the actor in his monologue as he spoke about growing up onscreen and how he???s now an adult. The actor kicked off his monologue as host addressing the end of the beloved Netflix show, noting that he was a mere 12 years old when he began on the series and said that it was: ???So amazing that 400 million people got to watch me go through puberty. I know a lot of people still see me as the kid from Stranger Things, right? But I???m 23 now, and I???m proud to officially announce that I am a man. Oh yeah, that???s right. Things are different now. Like, for example, I have facial hair. Can we zoom in on it? It might only be one hair, but the party starts when the first guest arrives??? He then added: ???My voice changed on camera, my first kiss was on camera, and the first time I learned what a woman looks like down there was on there as well,??? before cutting to a howling Demogorgon. Unfortunately, he also doesn???t like the taste of alcohol, spitting up his first ever drink all over SNL cast member Marcello Hern??ndez. ???Meet the new me, the man me. Stranger Things is over, and I???m not a kid anymore,??? Wolfhard continued, as Caleb McLaughlin and Gaten Matarazzo appeared, exclaiming: ???And neither are we!??? The audience erupted in applause, before they continued: ???We???re former child stars, and any time you read ???Former child star??? in a headline, it can only mean good things.??? They then talked about how strange it has been growing up onscreen, and all of the things people would say about them on Reddit. But at the end they joked that they are now ready to star in: ???Adult films.??? Later in the episode, a sketch considered what might happen with some Stranger Things spinoffs, including Mike in Manhattan, a Sex and the City-esque series starring Wolfhard, McLaughlin and Matarazzo. The sketch also took a shot at Will???s lengthy-coming out scene, saying that it???s still going on.
