nfrom Chris Murphy 01634 686 515nA little baby was found dead in a car after a NASA worker apparently forgot to drop them off at childcare.nNow the FBI has taken over the investigation in to the death of the seven-month-old infant.nIt is reported they were found after being left in a car all day during Wednesday by its dad.nIt happened at the Marshall Space Flight Center, in Alabama, officials told al.com.nThe news site reports there has been little additional information released, but the death has shaken the space community in Huntsville, home of one of NASA's major centresnOfficials did confirm that the father was the parent driving the car.nJohnny Stephenson heads Marshall's Office of Strategic Analysis and Communications, and he told the news site: "What we do know is the gentleman was on his way to work, intended to go by our day care centre, and apparently went straight to work and the child was left in the car.  The child passed away. For us, it's a time of great grieving.n"We're just trying to reach out and show caring for that family."nThe site said Marshall is one of NASA's largest centres with almost 6,000 civil service and contractor employees and an annual budget of about $2.5 billion. nIt has been involved in NASA's human spaceflight, science and technology development missions.nendsn
