Police and floral tributes at the scene in South Radford Street, Salford, September 24, 2024, where woman and a girl have been found dead. Release date ? September 24, 2024. Heartbreaking floral tributes have been laid next to a home where a woman and a girl were found dead. Flowers and a teddy bear were placed beside the terraced property after the bodies of the 40-year-old woman and eight-year-old girl were discovered yesterday (Mon). Police said they were called to South Radford Street, Salford, shortly after 10:30am following reports of a concern for welfare at the property. And when officers attended with assistance from ambulance crews, they found the pair deceased inside the address. Greater Manchester Police said following their initial investigations, they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the tragic deaths. They said the woman and girl's next of kin had been informed and were being supported by specialist officers. This morning (Tues) a police cordon remained in place around the address, with residents arriving with bouquets to pay their respects. Police were photographed laying the tributes beside a wooden boundary fence outside the brick-built property.
