An upstate New York mom kept her 2-year-old son trapped inside a filthy homemade cage ? and didn?t bother taking him to a doctor after he allegedly tumbled down the stairs, state police said Thursday.Naesha Lumpkin, 24, is facing child endangerment charges after troopers made the shocking discovery inside her Buffalo home in February ? but dodged more serious charges after the toddler was found with injured ribs and bruising on his face and body, police said in a press release.?This child was inside a makeshift cage ? a playpen that was covered by a piece of a crib tied down on three sides to top, not allowing the child to stand or exit the playpen,? the release said.

An aerial view of a property in Caddington, Bedfordshire shows police support tents in a garden as police remain at the scene after a man was arrested by Bedfordshire Police on 6/5/2024. Following further searches of the property and due to the nature of items found, Counter Terrorism police were informed. The man was arrested on Tuesday, 15 May on suspicion of possession of articles for terrorist purposes, contrary to section 57 of the Terrorism Act (TACT) 2000. He has since also been detained and remains in police custody. Specialist officers continue to carry out searches at the address in Caddington. A number of items and substances have been recovered from the address. These are being dealt with and removed in a safe way by specialist officers, and there is currently not believed to be any risk to other local residents or the wider public. Janiel Verainer, who claims to identify as a five-year-old girl, kissed two young school girls at a gathering where she had been playing piano. She was asked to remove her dummy during a routine security search at Maidstone Crown Court after turning up in pigtails and wearing a dress, high socks and a cape. But this was not the first time Verainer, who had gotten 'dressed up' for court.
