Amber Luke is known for her excessive ink. As the 30-year-old, who wanted to ?hide? when she was younger, enters a new decade of her life, she aims to be ?reunited? with her true face. She plans to have 36 tattoos removed by 2027 ? and she?s getting the painful procedures done for free. ?I was 20 when I wanted to hide my face,? Amber, who hails from Brisbane and has spent ?193,500 on her ink, told NeedToKnow. ? I truly didn?t see my natural beauty. ?I was a broken, lost soul. ?This journey of tattooing my face has lasted [a decade]. ?Over that period, I have not only grown as a person [but] I have adapted to my new ways of life. ?I have started to truly love myself and appreciate the way I look and while saying this, I will never regret my face tattoo process. ?Everything I have endured and have done to myself has been for a damn good reason and the right timing in life ? I truly believe that. ?[But] it?s been 10 years since I?ve seen my face. ?I am excited to reunite with her again.? Amber?s tattoo removal ? which she describes as ?gnarly? ? is being sponsored by Xanadu therapies in Springwood Brisbane ? she is an ambassador for the brand. She said: ?I haven?t spent a single dollar [and] I am beyond grateful. ?I don?t use numbing cream for any of my removals or tattoos in general; therefore the feeling [of getting them removed] is as intense as it can possibly be. ?The laser zap on the thin skin of the face is gnarly and it burns and it also stings mercilessly. ?Your face is distorted and swollen for up to four days after. ? I should have 36 removed by 2027. ?I have eight dermal piercings in my face and that presents as an issue with the laser. I will have to get these cut out of my face surgically before removing the remaining face tattoos at the end of the journey.? Despite her aim to get the face ink removed, Amber still has plans for new tattoos on other areas including her left hand, which is currently healing from blackout work. With Halloween around the corner, the model, who has 81,000 also reveals that she plans to dress up ? but people often think her eyeball tattoos are a part of her costume. She added: ?I dress up but people think my eyeball tattoos are contacts all the time. ?They don?t even know that eyeball tattoos exist!?
