One of her designs the 'Blood Bridge' has spikes on each end which insert into a vein on our lower arm. The industrial designer's invasive jewellery collection converts kinetic power from the body's involuntary movements into electricity. Though this might sound scary, the process shouldn't be too painful. Our continuous flow of blood would begin to turn the golden wheel that is fitted inside the design, eventually creating enough kinetic energy that can turn into electrical power. The collection called Energy Addicts so far features three designs, the first is aptly named Blood Bridge, which can be inserted into the veins on your lower arm. Another more prominent piece is called The Blinker which can be fitted on the bridge of your eyes, and her final statement piece is called the E-pulse Conductor. The E-pulse Conductor is fitted on the top of your back, colelcting energy from the nerves of your spinal cord. Their gold colour and elegant details mean her designs would not look out of place in a trendy jewellery shop. The Israeli artist explains that the project seeks to deal with questions such as; what will be the nature of society that is based on biological wealth and also address how we as humans can become a natural resource.
