Broody Sarah Sharples splurged the cash on £500 of pink clothes, £1,000 on pink nursery furniture and £900 on a pink pram. The rest she spent making sure every basic, from the feeding bottles to the bath, were all bought in the traditional girly colour. At her 20-week-scan she was told she was carrying a girl and so immediately started getting prepared.
