PIC FROM CATERS NEWS - This is the terrifying moment a skydivers parachute opened too early - inches away from a deathly tangle with the helicopter blade. The dramatic footage shows how thrill seeker James Dobb, 22, was preparing to exit the helicopter when his parachute got tangled into the helicopter. James then desperately cuts away at his main parachute before jumping to the ground with only his reserve chute available. But the drama wasnt over as others on board were left trying to haul the loose shoot in from inside the helicopter before it got sucked into the rotor blades. SEE CATERS COPY

Singer Adele Adkins poses with her driving test certificate after passing her test with Noel Gaughan from 'Intensive Courses'. See MASONS story MNPASS; Meet driving instructor to the stars Noel Gaughan - who has helped James McAvoy, Niall Horan and now Adele pass their tests. Strict Noel has become the celebrities' choice by treating them just like every other pupil - because he has no idea who they are. He didn't realise he had One Direction singer Niall in his car until they pulled up at traffic lights and were surrounded by screaming girls. Adele was so surprised Noel didn't recognise her she sang her hits behind the wheel - but he didn't know any of them. Noel had never listened to Mumford and Sons before he helped double bassist Edward Dwain get his licence.

PIC: RHIAN GREY/APEX 15/10/2013 This is the moment blue sharks were photographed devouring a dead dolphin off Falmouth Bay in Cornwall. The trio of sharks were spotted by the crew and passengers onboard Free Spirit, run by AK Wildlife Cruises, which operates trips all year round. The cruise firm's Richard Hollis said he saw scores of playful common dolphins a few miles offshore, and then the crew spotted the dead dolphin and then the sharks. He said: ì I always try and retrieve any dead marine mammals from offshore and bring them in for postmortem. ìHowever, I was certainly not expecting to call out ìThere is a Sharkíí and not just one shark but three, taking it in turns to slowly and repeatedly feed and consume this recently dead common dolphin, right in front of us all. As much as it was a gruesome sight to behold, it was also very unique and such a privilege to observe and witness, especially here in Falmouth Bayíí said Mr Hollis. This picture shows one of the sharks alongside the dolphin carcass. ** SEE STORY BY APEX NEWS - 01392 823144 ** ---------------------------------------------------- APEX NEWS & PICTURES NEWS DESK: 01392 823144 PICTURE DESK: 01392 823145
