A quiet family retreat has been ruined by the arrival of the ultimate neighbour from hell – a rollercoaster ride.
The Killions’ hearts sank when they realised their tranquil weekend home is right next to the Boardwalk Bullet, which takes up to 800 passengers an hour for 12 hours a day.
Because Kemah in Houston, Texas, has no planning laws, the family was powerless to do anything.
Carol Killion said: ‘It’s such a shame.’
