User:Quiddity (WMF)
Background: I've been editing as a volunteer since 2005. In 2013 I was hired by the Foundation. From then until now I have been working as a Movement Communications Specialist (formerly, "Community Liaison"), helping to ensure open lines of communication between our editing community and the developers and staff, and surfacing issues that are important to our editors. (Essentially, that means I tried to read everything (twice), to point the staff and the communities towards documentation or discussions that need attention and input, to investigate problems, and to compile potential solutions).
I have previously worked: with the Collaboration team (on Notifications and Flow); on Hovercards; with Community Tech on the Community Wishlists; on Movement Strategy phase 1; with Hackathon organizers; with the Wikimedia Cloud Services team on documentation and comms; with the Reading Web team on the Desktop Improvements project; with the Advancement dept on documentation and communications; with the Abstract Wikipedia team on the launch of Wikifunctions; as lead-editor on Tech News (2020–2025); and on various other endeavours and side-projects.
