Mercy Chefs Global
More people to feed. More nations to love.
In 2006, Mercy Chefs began by serving meals in the aftermath of disasters across the U.S. Since then, we have expanded our mission globally. God has opened doors for us to extend hope, healing, and hospitality to vulnerable communities around the world. Watch as Founder and CEO Chef Gary LeBlanc shares the powerful vision behind Mercy Chefs Global.
Launched in 2022, Mercy Chefs Global has served 40 countries.
Our international work began in 2010, when we responded to the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Since then, we’ve responded to humanitarian crises and natural disasters in places like Ukraine, Israel, Honduras, Turkey, Uganda, the Bahamas, the Philippines, and more.
From war-torn regions to storm-ravaged villages, our Global team is stepping in to bring hope and nourishment to families enduring these harsh realities.
Today, we are serving over 345,000 meals monthly in 60 unique locations across 23 countries.
Today, Mercy Chefs Global is working alongside 37 trusted local partners to meet urgent and long-term needs. In each region, our goal is to support communities recovering from crisis and facing food insecurity by providing:
- Hot, chef-quality meals.
- Locally sourced, nutrient-rich groceries.
- Clean drinking water.
- Pathways to self-sufficiency.
Through community kitchens and hands-on training in food and sanitation, we’re equipping partners to serve their communities with excellence and sustainability.
