MD — Prince George’s County Police continue investigating a critical incident Friday afternoon that began as a reported carjacking with shots fired and escalated into multiple shooting scenes across northern Prince George’s County. The incident began around 3:09 p.m. and involved police activity in several locations, including the area of 67th Avenue and Patterson Street and near Greenbelt Middle School.
Officers have one person in custody and one weapon recovered after reports of shots fired in multiple locations in the northern portion of Prince George's County, to include the area of 67th Avenue & Patterson St. Police have one confirmed victim. This is a very active, evolving incident.
Woman found dead in Catonsville home identified
7 hour agoofficers from the Rockville City Police Department responded to the area of Wootton Parkway and Rockshire Place for a reported assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a juvenile male suffering from serious injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is currently recovering.
