The Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival is a community based festival which has been held annually since 1967 in Dungloe, County Donegal.
It is family friendly with a wide variety of musical, cultural, child, sporting, artistic and novelty events. Irish diaspora communities from around the world, as well as Irish counties and towns, participate by nominating a young woman to represent their area.
The winner, crowned 'Mary From Dungloe' holds the title for a year and acts as an ambassador for the festival, Dungloe & Donegal.

Is féile phobalbhunaithe í Féile Ealaíne Idirnáisiúnta Mháire an Chlocháin Léith a bhíonn a reáchtáil go bliantúil ar an Chlochán Liath i nDún na nGall ón bhliain 1967.
Tá an fhéile oiriúnach do theaghlaigh agus bíonn réimse leathan imeachtaí ceoil, cultúrtha, spóirt, ealaíne, nuaga agus imeachtaí do pháistí ar siúl le linn na féile.
Bíonn diaspora na hÉireann ar fud an domhain agus ar fud na tíre páirteach san fhéile trí bhean óg a ainmniú le hionadaíocht a dhéanamh ar a gceantar ag an fhéile.

Daniel O'Donnell has been a long-time host and ambassador of the Mary from Dungloe Festival.
As the festival's MC, Daniel has been a key figure in promoting the event and bringing together local communities and visitors from around the world. With his warm and engaging personality, he has played a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the festival, which celebrates Irish culture and traditions.
His involvement in the Mary from Dungloe Festival has helped to make it one of the most popular events in Ireland's cultural calendar.

Greg Hughes
Greg Hughes began presenting Highland Radio’s flagship morning show in 2017 and it has since enjoyed a continued growth in listenership. The Nine til Noon Show not only sets the news agenda for the Northwest but has regularly broken stories of national importance. The show is also broadcast on social media around the world with over 1,000,000 live minutes viewed month. Greg is also the Head of News at Highland Radio with the focus being on an accurate, balanced and fair service for the loyal listeners of the Northwest.
Crona Byrne
For over 50 years Dungloe has been our second home and a place we hold dearly to our hearts. Dad was a judge and now I am delighted to be a part of the festival. We currently live just outside Naas Co. Kildare while still running our Crèche "The Owl And the Pussycat Daycare" in Co. Tipperary
Barra Best
Barra has worked for BBC Northern Ireland for almost 20 years, starting as a news reporter and progressing to presenting weather forecasts and documentaries. Barra has created several acclaimed BBC documentary series, including "Walk The Line," "Coast Lives," and "Barra's Return of The Wild," exploring nature and wildlife conservation.
Celine Powell
Celina Powell, the first ever winner of the Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival, was crowned in 1967. Her win marked the beginning of the festival's long history and her experience as the first winner has become a part of the festival's folklore.
Katie McMahon
Katie came to the Mary From Dungloe International Arts Festival in 1995 as the New York Mary. When Sarah Mullholland passed her the title of Mary from Dungloe, Katie didn't realize at the time she was also gaining a life long friendship and long lasting ties to Donegal. Professionally, Katie has been a technology executive and entrepreneur and is considered a pioneer in sound and conversational AI technologies. McMahon has lived and worked in Tokyo, London and Silicon Valley and is now based outside of Washington, D.C. with her husband and two children, who so graciously indulge her with support for all things Ireland, especially Donegal.
