Welch TROUBLED WATERS When Scout's super hot hookup doesn't appear to recognize him as he takes on the gig of protecting him, Scout knows he has to keep his hurt (and his attraction) to Emery hidden, if he wants to succeed in keeping Emery safe from whatever sicko has targeted him. Damn...I was not expecting this! Troubled Waters is pretty great. It's way sexy, but more importantly, it's opposites attract done really well. Scout is a big, muscular guy with the softest, sweetest heart, and he's absolutely lovesick for Emery. Emery is very out, very flamboyant and fem, and proud about it. He's also the one with the walls, and keeps Scout out so much so that Scout's tender feelings are hurt more than once. And that's exactly why, and the only reason why, it's 4 stars rather than the 5 I was tempted to give it. I hated it when Emery's walls hurt Scout, even if he didn't mean to. Yes, h...
