Christopher DeVargas was born and raised in the city of sin, that's right, a Las Vegas native! Growing up, he spent most of his time either up on a stage, in front of a camera, or behind a sketch pad. From acting to dance, modeling to art, Christopher has had a wide variety of experience performing and displaying his creative talents. He continued his involvement in the arts by studying dance and theater at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts High School. After graduating high school in 2001, Christopher made the life changing decision to enlist in the US Army. " It was a duty that I felt I had to do, an obligation to this wonderful country I live in". He spent 4 years serving in the Army, 2 of those years were spent in combat operation in Iraq as part of a tank/Humvee crew. He received an honorable discharge at the rank of E-5 Sergeant in 2006, along with other numerous awards of exceptional service and valor. After returning home to Vegas, summer of 2006, Christopher enrolled at the College of Southern Nevada to study Commercial Photography and Digital Photo-Graphics and received degrees in both in May of 2010. He has been shooting for Greenspun Media Group since October 2010 and has had the pleasure of working with some of the best and brightest in the industry. "I'm looking forward to what the future holds for me, and I'm very thankful for all the opportunities presented to me thus far".
