Looking at this map, it becomes clear that most European spend about 20 to 30 minutes commuting to their work (one-way).

Icelandic people have by far the shortest commute in Europe, with only 15 minutes on average.

Latvia and the UK clearly have the longest commute, spending 33 and 30 minutes respectively to get to work.

Data for this map comes from Eurostat. Keep in mind that this data is from 2019, before working from home became a big thing. Of course it would have been much better to have more recent data, but this is the most recent data that is out there.
