Why we are building it
OVHcloud was among the first providers to obtain this qualification and now offers two solutions: Bare Metal Pod and Hosted Private Cloud.
For many years, we have chosen to design, build, and operate our own solutions, maintaining full control over the entire technology stack. This structural choice enables us to guarantee long-term, secure technological independence for all our customers, without relying on critical technologies operated by non-European players.
This approach has formed the foundation of our vision of trusted cloud for the past 25 years.
A cloud that goes beyond one-off compliance with a given framework, and instead reflects a sustainable, operational approach to sovereignty: control over data, control over technology, and control over operations.
It is with this vision in mind that we continue to develop our offerings with SNC Cloud Platform.
Built to offer that “no-compromise” path: public-cloud agility, with the strongest sovereignty and security standards—operated by OVHcloud as a managed platform.
The SNC Cloud Platform is a new generation of SecNumCloud-qualified Managed Services operated by OVHcloud.
These services combine the ease of use of our existing Public Cloud offer with the highest French cybersecurity & sovereignty qualification, SecNumCloud.

FAQ
How to join the Beta?
The SNC Cloud Platform Beta is offered in an exclusive and limited framework.
Participation slots are limited, and not all requests will be accepted.
Important note on user experience:
As the interface is still being finalized, services are currently exposed in a raw / early-stage form.
We therefore recommend prioritizing customers who are comfortable working beyond UX considerations and focusing on technical capabilities and feedback.
This Beta phase is primarily a testing and co-construction phase, under the following conditions:
• No production usage
The platform is provided free of charge, with no SLA.
No production systems or production data must be hosted during the Beta.
• Potential changes before General Availability (GA)
Major technical evolutions will take place before GA.
As a result, customers may be required to reload or migrate their data to a new platform when transitioning to GA.
• Technical limitations
Certain limitations, particularly around storage capacity, will apply in order to preserve the stability of the Beta platform.
• Trusted NIC requirement
As with all SNC offerings, customers must have a Trusted NIC dedicated exclusively to SNC services (or with no other services enabled).
• SecNumCloud qualification status
During the Beta phase, the service is not yet SecNumCloud qualified.
Is there a cost during Beta?
Services are free during the Beta, within defined volume limits.
Where is the Beta available?
Beta is available in the Roubaix region.
At General Availability, the SNC Cloud Platform will expand to Gravelines and Strasbourg, followed by Paris (3 AZ) and additional regions in France and abroad in the future.
