BGP Service
BGP for your cloud infrastructure
Build highly available infrastructures by running standard BGP routing protocol straight from your OVHcloud hosts.
Ensure high availability with BGP Service
Seamlessly integrate your own IP addresses with our global cloud infrastructure using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Achieve maximum uptime, optimize routing, and maintain full control over your network resources.
The alpha of BGP Service is only available to a limited number of customers. Access to the alpha is at the discretion of OVHcloud.
Why choose our BGP solution?
High Availability & Resilience: Multi-path connectivity ensures uninterrupted network performance.
Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP): Announce your own IP prefixes directly to our global backbone.
DDoS Protection: Integrated mitigation keeps your infrastructure secure from volumetric attacks.
Seamless Cloud Integration: Easily integrate BGP with our Baremetal, public and private cloud services.

FAQ
How can I join the alpha and test the BGP Service ?
Simply click on the button "Join the public Alpha", we will analyse your request and get back to you quickly, with details on how to proceed. Please note that this alpha is currently limited to a certain number of customers and hence your request may not be satisfied.
How long should I wait until my BGP service is delivered ?
In the alpha, the service is configured manually on OVHcloud side, so the delivery process can take several weeks.
Can I manage my BGP service in the UI or with an API ?
In the alpha, there is no API or User Interface available to view or configure your BGP Service.
Can I announce IPv6 addresses with BGP Service ?
Yes, to announce IPv6 addresses with BGP Service you need to use an Additional IPv6 prefix from OVHcloud. Bringing your own IPv6 is not supported yet.
Can I announce my prefix with my own AS with BGP Service ?
You can announce your prefix with your own AS. Checkout Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) documentation for more details on how to proceed.
Does this service support anycast ?
