NPC is not inherently a partisan meme.
It is anti-ideological and anti-dogmatic altogether.

NPC is more than a mere meme. It reveals a psychological glitch in humans that can be exploited by programmers, often for nefarious purposes.

The purpose of the NPC meme is to help free active players.
Many NPCs are just PCs caught up in the desires of the flesh and brainwashed with propaganda, and can be saved.
The NPC meme will create self-questioning and cognitive dissonance, leading to higher self-awareness, meta-cognition, spirituality, etc.
A society where so few think for themselves is too dangerous.
We as a species have much higher potential – we must unlock it.

At present time, only a few humans are not NPCs… 99+% of humans are NPCs. NPCs may be partly sentient but they lack spirit and have not been blessed by God with divine free will. They are Kierkegaard's philistines, the universal goyim, meat robots. This is probably the result of the power elite (programmers) believing in some perverse kind of transhumanism and worshiping a predictive artificial intelligence.

– As of 10/13/2018 some anons on 4chan were claiming the NPC meme is a psyop by AstroTurf groups led by the DNC and George Soros in coordination with the "intelligence community" / alphabet agencies / deep state to create a narrative point for a false flag shooting and blame it on a white male, leading to gun laws / gun confiscation or further censorship, exclusion, and alienation of men, whites, heterosexuals, Christians, conservatives, etc from society. As far as I know this is false. Perhaps this is being pushed as a scare tactic to shut down the meme. However, you cannot shut down memes without shutting down the internet. Trust your state and local law enforcement! Intel agency fuckery will surely not go unchallenged by law enforcement.
– This meme is not new. The left has been calling the right "Russian bots" for a while now. The NPC meme has also been known by pretty much every major religion and civilization throughout history.
–The NPC meme may have a very real basis in neurobiology. When the amygdala is activated, people are very reactionary and just sense and respond without thinking. Some refer to the primitive "lizard brain" to explain such behavior. The NPC mode seems to be induced by psychological stress, especially when coupled with total propaganda saturation and stimulating things that create addictive behaviors as an escape mechanism. Others tend to point to the bicameral mind hypothesis.
