Creating an Avid Account
How to create your free Avid account and verify your account information.

3. Fill in the required fields in the Sign up page, make sure to choose if it is for a Personal account (Individual) or Business, then click on Create Avid account

 

 

1. Go to avid.com and click Log in

2. On the Sign in page, click on I'm new, create an account

3. Fill in the required fields in the Sign up page, then click on Create Avid account

4. You will be directed to the My Account page.

You will now have the opportunity to link your Avid Community Account, iLok Accounts, Request access to the Support Center (Portal), and create a Developer Account. This IS NOT your only chance to link these accounts. You may skip this page and link the accounts at a later date. 

Note: Currently, the Pro Video Community account is the only site available to link to your MyAvid Account. Pro Audio and Music and Notation do not link.
 

5. Validate the Avid Shipping and Billing address.

It is important to enter all the information requested so when products are purchased, they can be deposited directly into your account.

On the Account Info section, click on Contact Details & Payment Methods.

6. On Contact Details & Payment Methods page, click on Update for both Billing Address and Shipping Address

7. Complete the form and click on Confirm once done for both Billing Address and Shipping Address.

      The Master Account is broken down into sections. Notice that the Avid Support Center, Avid Community and ilok Account need to be linked.

      • On the Avid Community, simply choose "Link this account" if you already have an account or choose "Create Account", fill in the required fields and click submit.

      • On the Linked ilok Account, click on "Link this account".

      • If you don't have access to the Support Center, simply click on "Request access to Support Center (Portal)".

        If you already had a Portal Account (support contract required) and used the same email address when creating a Master Account, then your Portal Access and case history will already be linked here and you should see an "Access the Support Center (Portal)" button. If you are having trouble with this, please call 1-800-800-AVID.
