Google has introduced Nano Banana Pro, a new image model built on the Gemini 3 Pro platform. The update brings stronger reasoning, better visual accuracy, and major upgrades in text rendering.

The company frames the launch as a push toward smarter, more reliable image creation for everyday users and professionals.

Nano Banana Pro uses Gemini 3 Pro’s reasoning system to create more context-aware visuals.

It reads user inputs with a deeper understanding and produces images that reflect real-world information more accurately.

The model also draws on Google Search to show live data. Users can turn recipes, weather information, or sports updates into visuals within seconds.

The system also creates diagrams, explainers, and data graphics using user notes or public information.

Google positions the model as a tool that helps users quickly convert ideas into visuals.

It can turn rough notes into product concepts or convert sketches into detailed renders. The company says the model recognises nuance in user prompts and reflects those details in the final image.

Better text rendering is one of the biggest upgrades.

Nano Banana Pro now places readable, correctly shaped text inside images across multiple languages. It handles long blocks of text along with short labels or taglines.

Google says the model now understands typographic cues more clearly. It produces posters, mockups, and design layouts with fonts that look natural.

Multilingual features also get an upgrade. Users can create text-based graphics in many languages and translate content directly in the visual.

Google says this helps people create international versions of designs without extra tools.

High fidelity and creative control

The new model supports more complex blending. Users can upload up to 14 images and maintain accurate likenesses for up to 5 people.

This helps with product design, branding projects, and visual prototypes.

The system also builds 3D-like structures from sketches or blueprints and maintains consistency with the source inputs.

Creative controls now go deeper. Users can adjust lighting, shift camera angles, change focus, refine sections, or replace elements.

The model also supports high-resolution outputs in 2K and 4K, making it suitable for print or large-format screens.

Built-in watermarking tools

Google continues to embed SynthID, its invisible watermark, into every AI-generated image.

The Gemini app now includes a verification tool. Users can upload an image and check if Google AI created it. The feature will expand to audio and video later.

Google also uses a visible watermark called the Gemini sparkle. It appears on images created by free users and Google AI Pro subscribers.

The company removes it for Google AI Ultra subscribers and developers using Google AI Studio to support cleaner professional work.

Nano Banana Pro marks Google’s latest push in multimodal AI.

The company says the model combines creative flexibility with higher trust and transparency, aiming to support both casual creators and professional teams.
