Strange and Unusual
Attack of the Killer Dongs! On Screen Peen
The horror genre has been saturated with female nudity starting in the 1970s. Being a male dominated field, as well as audience, there has been little pushback. However, over the years the horror community has grown, and females have continued to join the ranks… yet male nudity seems to evade the screen.

Unfortunately, the supply of eye candy for the ladies has been far from satisfying. In a genre that exploits the female figure gratuitously, male nudity that gets screen time is usually very disappointing. Floppy cocks, bifurcated dongs, and amputated penises tend to be the majority of what makes the occasional cameo. Talk about double standards.
The acceptance of male genitalia among audience members and the critics appears to be situational. During the last year we have had three very different situations, all circulating around a horror character’s schlong. However, despite its rare appearance, acceptance is still a heavy debate among the viewers.
Count Orl-cock, 2024’s Nosferatu
Seeing Count Orlok in Nosferatu on Christmas day in all his naked state of decomposition was the gift we didn’t ask Santa for. Nor was it the Bill Skarsgard full frontal nudity scene many of us had been praying for.

In 2024’s Nosferatu, Skarsgard’s creature of the night had a very sexually charged connection to Ellen Hutter, portrayed by Lily-Rose Depp. Ellen was the target of Orlock’s desires. In fact, she uses his obsession with her to eventually defeat the monster as she lures him into her bed.
When he enters her bedroom, Ellen is dressed in a wedding gown. She disrobes, giving the impression they will consummate their union. The two then made their way to the bed.
However, despite it being arguably appropriate at this time in the movie, this is not the scene in which we are exposed to the vampire’s appendage. We see the prosthetic penis in the third act, when Count Orlok rises from his coffin to attack Thomas Hutter, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult.

Fans were left with the question; why were we exposed to Count Orlocks penis at all? The justification for Orlock’s on screen nudity is debatable. The vampire has always been a sensual creature who has married feeding with arousal and sex. However, this was not the context where we were exposed to Orlok’s penis. The only explanation we can assume is that the Count enjoys sleeping in the buff.
The Toxic Avenger, Uncut?
Currently many theaters have been opting out of screening 2023’s The Toxic Avenger Unrated, featuring Toxie’s full frontal nudity.
Despite the movie’s release still being a month away, pictures of the mutant janitor’s green and purple dong can easily be found online. No doubt, the fan created porno will be soon to follow.

The majority of the audience knows what they are walking into when attending a Toxic Avenger movie. The trailer alone prepares viewers for the absurdity, so it is difficult to support the theater’s prude decision to go with the alternative R rated version of Macon Blair’s re-imagining.
While the reason behind the hero whipping it out is indeed a bit cringe, it is not sexual in any nature. In fact, the off the wall context is quite appropriate for the black comedy. The Toxic Avenger world is known to be filled with grotesquely extreme situations, gore, and ultra violence. Given the series was originally directed by the twisted and sometimes vulgar Lloyd Kaufman, Winston Gooze exposing himself isn’t that bizzare.
Unfortunately, it is another example of an unflattering example of cock in a horror movie.
28 Inches Later, Well Endowed Zombies
28 Years Later directed by Danny Boyle featured an army of dongs! Yep, more floppy cocks bouncing around the screen.

In the recent installment of the zombie trilogy, Alpha zombies have been added to the storyline. These zombies are bigger, stronger, smarter, and apparently have bigger schlongs than your average zombie.
And yes, these images are out there if you have not yet seen the movie.
The lead Alpha zombie is Samson, portrayed by MMA fighter Chi Lewis-Parry. His presence, and dong, dominate the screen. This is the closest we are going to get to eye candy.
The swinging cock is a little shocking, both in its intimidating size and the fact it is on screen to begin with. However, the fact zombies have been wandering the land for 28 years explains their lack of clothing. Cloth deteriorates over time, zombies aren’t concerned with fashion, and they certainly aren’t modest. Do these reasons make the on screen male nudity more acceptable to viewers?

Once again, as in Nosferatu, a prosthetic penis was used in the filming of 28 Years Later. Despite being 6’8, Chi Lewis-Parry claimed the prosthetic was three times larger than his own. He reported the choice to go bigger was significant to his character.
Funny how women expose their natural bodies on screen, and men get to hide behind a sheath of latex.
However, in this situation it is called for. A co-actor on set was a 13 year old boy, and British Child Endangerment Laws require the use of false peens around children.
In Conclusion
The movie industry as a whole tends to shy away from male nudity, whether it’s “good” male nudity or “bad.” Whether it’s hard and erect cocks in sex scenes, or bifurcated dicks as someone is being tortured, few are displayed on the screen.
Not even in the Fifty Shades trilogy, a movie about BDSM and sex, is the “D” revealed. If that isn’t an opportune time to showcase male nudity, I don’t know what is.
The acceptance of male genitalia among audience members and the critics appears all situational. Let us know what you think about the big “P” being shown in the horror world.

HAUNTED HISTORY – The Myrtles Plantation
The Myrtles Plantation is located in St. Frances, Louisiana, and consists of 600 acres. It was built in 1796 by General David Bradford, a successful lawyer and deputy attorney-general for Washington County, Pennsylvania, who was forced to flee President George Washington’s army in 1794 due to his role in the Pennsylvania Whiskey Rebellion.

General Bradford was eventually pardoned in 1799 by President John Adams at which time he moved his wife Elizabeth and their five children to live with him on the Plantation’s originally named “Laurel Grove.”
Bradford died in 1808 and his widow Elizabeth ran the plantation until 1817 when she handed over the management of the Plantation to Clarke Woodruff. He was one of Bradford’s former law students, who eventually married her daughter, Sara Mathilda.
Elizabeth Bradford died in 1831 and one of her daughter’s children, Mary Octavia, who was then overseeing the Plantation, moved to Covington, Louisiana, and left a caretaker to manage the property in her place.

In 1834, the family’s land and slaves were sold to Ruffin Gray Stirling and his wife, Catherine Cobb. Once they took over the plantation, they remodeled the home, nearly doubling its original size. After the remodel, the home was renamed “The Myrtles” after the crepe myrtles that grew on the property.
The Myrtles consists of 22 rooms spread over two stories. Stirling died in 1854 and left the plantation to his wife. The plantation survived through the American Civil War, where it was robbed of the furnishings and expensive accessories. The family fortune was also lost during this time as it was tied up in Confederate currency.
The plantation was sold again in 1868.
The Hauntings of the Myrtles Plantation

In the 20th-century, the surrounding land was divided and sold among heirs. In the 1950s the house was sold to Marjorie Munson, who was one of the first to notice strange things happening around the house, and this resulted in numerous ghost stories. The home went through many more ownership changes until it was finally bought by John and Teeta Moss, who are now the current owners.

There are many legends surrounding the home.
It is reported to have been built over an Indian burial ground and listed as “one of America’s most haunted homes.” The home is said to be haunted by a young Native American woman.
The plantation is said to have around 12 ghosts and reports of 10 murders that occurred in the house, although historical records only indicate the murder of 1 person, William Winter, an attorney who lived at the plantation and was shot in 1871 and died on the 17th step of the staircase. Employees and visitors have said they can still hear his dying footsteps.

One of the most well-known ghosts is a slave girl named Chloe. In 1992, the proprietress of the plantation was taking photographs for insurance purposes and happened to photograph what appeared to be a slave girl standing between The General’s Store and the Butler’s Pantry of the mansion. The National Geographic Explorer examined the photograph and appeared to agree with the owner.

One of the legends says that, during the Civil War, the house was invaded by Union soldiers and claims three of them were killed inside the house. Another alleged haunting involves a mirror located in the house that supposedly holds the spirits of Sara Woodruff and two of her children, one of the former owners of the plantation.
Another young girl supposedly died in the house in 1868, who was being treated by a voodoo practitioner. It is said she appears in the room where she died and practices voodoo on whoever sleeps in that room.

In 2002, Unsolved Mysteries featured the hauntings at the plantation. Host Robert Stack stated that the production crew experienced technical difficulties during filming. The Myrtles was also featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures, as well as an episode on The Most Terrifying Places in America.
The Myrtle Plantation is open for ghost tours and as a Bed and Breakfast.

Paranormal Games: The Cat Scratch Game
Welcome back to Paranormal Games on iHorror where we take you through some of the creepiest, spookiest games from the Sacred Hall of Sleepovers Past. (Okay, there’s no such thing, but it sounds cool, right?) Today, we present to you The Cat Scratch Game.
Like many of these games, it’s difficult to pin down exactly where it all began, but it has its own charm and its own “dangers.” and it certainly earns its place on our list of favorite paranormal games.
Alternate Names for The Cat Scratch Game:
Depending on where you are in the world, The Cat Scratch Game is also known as Black Cat Scratch and Cat Scratches.
Supplies:
Just a comfy pillow
Number of Players:
You’ll need at least two people to play The Cat Scratch Game.

How to play:
Getting Started:
The two main players in this particular game are the Storyteller–yes, you’re going to have to tell a little story–and the Victim.
If there are more than two people in the room, the others should sit quietly. If there are enough to do so, form a circle around the Storyteller and Victim, but again, the key is for you to be very quiet while the game is played.
The Storyteller should sit cross-legged on the floor with a pillow in their lap and the Victim should lie down on their back, placing their head on the pillow.
When the room is settled, the Storyteller should gently and soothingly begin to rub the temples of the Victim while reciting one of the two stories below which I found on the Hide and Go Kill Wiki.

Story #1:
There once was an old lady who owned a cat.
The cat was very nice.
It meowed and purred.
One day, the cat got hit by a car and died.
Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch.
The old lady got a new cat.
The cat was very mean.
It hissed and clawed.
Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch.
One day, the cat got hit by a car and died.
The old lady decided not to get anymore cats.
Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch.
Story #2:
You are walking through a dark alley late at night.
You are the only one there.
The ground is slick with rain.
The alley is filled with garbage cans and litter.
But then you hear something.
A movement in the garbage cans.
You pick up your pace.
You want to get out of the alley fast.
But then you see something.
Red eyes. Glowing red cat eyes.
They are the eyes of an enormous cat.
You run but the cat chases you and jumps on you.
It scratches you: one, two, three.
Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch, Cat Scratch.
The Reveal:
As soon as the storyteller finishes telling one of the stories from above, the Victim should stand up immediately and lift their shirt. Though they should not have felt it happen, there will now be three long, light red scratch marks down their back!
While there is no definitive reason why the marks should appear on the back, internet theories abound. Those more firmly grounded in reality have suggested that it’s simply marks from lying on the floor, while those more likely have suggested the possibility that the little ritual summons a demon who attacks the Victim.
Either way, it’s a most interesting game, don’t you think? Let us know your own theories down in the comments!

Paranormal Games: Red Door, Yellow Door
Let’s play a game: Red Door, Yellow Door
Also Known As Doors Of The Mind
Spooky games that border on the paranormal are a mainstay at slumber parties around the world. From light as a feather, stiff as a board… to the classic Ouija board, we’ve all played at least one, but there are others out there, perhaps less well known, and one of the spookiest is Red Door, Yellow Door. Doors of the Mind
What is Red Door Yellow Door?
Sometimes this paranormal game is called Doors of the Mind or Black Door, White Door, and well, any other combination of colors, you can think of.
Red Door, Yellow Door takes two to play. However, it’s perfect for a late-night audience of scared teens, so it’s no surprise that it’s made a resurgence in recent years.
The Game Rules
The rules are simple, but the outcome could be dire, or so the urban legends claim. One player is the guide, and the other is the subject.
- The guide sits on the floor, cross-legged with a pillow in their lap.
- The subject will then lie on the ground with their head in the guide’s lap and their hands raised in the air.
- The guide should, at this point, begin to massage the subject’s temples in a circular motion chanting, “Red Door, Yellow Door, any other color door” over and over again, joined by any witnesses to the game. Doors of the Mind
- As the subject slips into the trance, they will find themselves in a room in their mind and at that point, they should lower their arms to the floor signaling the guide and any witnesses to stop chanting.
The game has officially begun.
At this point, the person acting as the guide will begin to ask questions to the subject in order to get them to describe the room. Any witnesses should be silent so that there is no sound except for the voice of the guide and the voice of the subject answering the guide’s question.

The instructor might ask what colors the doors to the room are, how they feel about the doors, and instruct them to go through varying doors into other rooms.
The subject is encouraged to answer all questions honestly until the guide decides to end the game, but there are some warnings and signs of danger to keep in mind.
Dangers To Keep In Mind Doors of the Mind
According to Scary for Kids:
- If you encounter people in the room, it may be best not to interact with them. They may be evil and try to trick you.
- If you find yourself in a room full of clocks, leave immediately. Clocks can trap you.
- You can go wherever you want, but it is safer to go up than down.
- Light things and light colors tend to be better than dark things and dark colors.
- If you should find yourself trapped in a room, you must try to wake up. If you don’t, you might be trapped forever.
- If you die in the game, you will supposedly die in real life.
- If you encounter a man in a suit who makes you uncomfortable, end the game immediately.
- If the guide is having a hard time waking the subject from the trance, they should shake them roughly to bring them into wakefulness.
Sounds creepy, right?!
The whole point of the Red Door, Yellow Door, seemingly, is to explore the inner workings of your own mind and to also understand that there are also dark sides to everyone.
Some of the things you might encounter inside the game may be those very things about yourself that you don’t wish to face.

Red Door, Yellow Door: The Paranormal Game Explained

If you’re into paranormal games and challenges, chances are you’ve heard of Red Door, Yellow Door. This creepy game has been circulating online for a while now, and it’s gained a reputation for being one of the most unsettling and mysterious experiences you can have.
But what exactly is Red Door, Yellow Door, and how does it work? In this article, we’ll delve into the history and mechanics of the game, and explore some of the most popular variations and interpretations.
The Basics of Red Door, Yellow Door
The origins of Red Door, Yellow Door are shrouded in mystery, but it’s believed to have its roots in ancient folklore and ritualistic practices. The game is typically played by two or more people, with one person acting as the “guide” or “leader” and the others as “explorers.” The guide sits behind the explorer(s), who lie on the ground with their heads in the guide’s lap. The guide then begins to hypnotize the explorers, leading them into a trance-like state.
Once the explorers are sufficiently entranced, the guide instructs them to imagine a red door and a yellow door in their minds. The explorers are told to choose one of the doors and “enter” it in their minds, visualizing themselves walking down a long, dark hallway. Along the way, they may encounter various entities or experiences, depending on the variation of the game being played.
Some versions of Red Door, Yellow Door involve exploring a haunted mansion or encountering ghostly figures. Others involve traveling through a maze or facing off against supernatural entities like demons or witches. The guide may provide prompts or directions to the explorers, or they may be left to their own devices to explore the imaginary world.
The Risks and Rewards of Red Door, Yellow Door
Part of the appeal of Red Door, Yellow Door is the sense of danger and risk involved. Some players believe that the game can lead to actual supernatural experiences, and that the entities encountered in the game can follow them back into the real world. Others see it as a purely psychological exercise, a way to explore their own subconscious and confront their fears and anxieties.
Regardless of your beliefs about the paranormal, it’s important to approach Red Door, Yellow Door with caution. Hypnosis can be a powerful tool, and it’s possible to experience unintended side effects like headaches, dizziness, or disorientation. It’s also important to establish clear boundaries and guidelines before playing, and to have a trusted guide who can help you navigate any unexpected situations.
