Declaring judgment upon her people, she merged with Aquila and now slumbers within the sky fortress.
Seliose was a historical figure on Amphoreus, and is an NPC located in Beyond Time: An Eternal Page. She was among the first of the Chrysos Heirs to slay a Titan.
Profile[]
Seliose was an ambitious and passionate person who held unconditional and boundless love for humanity, despite the way she was treated during her childhood. However, after fusing with Aquila and witnessing humans still killing each other in her name, she grew disillusioned with them. In her disillusionment, she killed the Skyfolks, leaving behind one unnamed Chrysos Heir, whose descendant, Hyacine, would eventually rise to challenge her.
History[]
18,250,001st Eternal Recurrence[]
After being exiled from the Eye of Twilight by the Skyfolk, Seliose encountered Terravox, the Dromas King, who took her under their wing. After a sparring match, Terravox realized that Seliose's powers rivaled their own. While they believed she would one day leave her mark on history, they also foresaw that her fierce determination could just as easily lead her to great tragedy.
Despite Seliose's intention to slay Aquila, Terravox managed to dissuade her, convincing her to remain on the ground. The two journeyed together and eventually met Cerydra, joining the Flame-Chase Journey as an auxiliary force in Light Calendar Year 3920.
However, in Light Calendar Year 3960, during the battle against Phagousa, the Ocean Titan, the entire Flame-Chase Army perished with Seliose being the sole survivor. Upon her return to Okhema, the Council of Elders accused her of murdering both the Imperator and the Army in a bid for power. Seliose offered no defense; instead, she swiftly purged the entire Council and later supported Aglaea's ascent to power.
Though not a demigod, Seliose continued to live for the next thousand years, until the Chrysos Heir of Sky, Hyacine, ascended the rainbow bridge to the Eye of Twilight. Seliose passed away soon after, standing atop Dawncloud.[3]
33,550,336th Eternal Recurrence[]
Seliose was born a denizen of the sky, the child of two feuding tribes — a Sunfolk father, a warrior, and a Rainfolk mother, a priestess with whom she lived. During her formative years, the conflict between the Sunfolk and Rainfolk intensified. Because of her Sunfolk lineage, the Rainfolk never accepted her as one of their own. This exclusion soon turned into contempt and fear when it was discovered that she was a Chrysos Heir. Yet despite this, Seliose bore no hatred toward them and grew into a passionate and compassionate individual.[4]
After being exiled from her tribe, she encountered Solabis and Lunabis, forming an alliance with them. During her time in exile, she met an unknown person in a secluded cave who trained her in exceptional combat techniques. It was during this period that she heard Kephale's prophecy, delivered by the newly ascended demigod of Passage, Tribios.[5]
Seliose later returned to the Sky Castrum to challenge Aquila, the Titan of the Sky, the root cause of the Sunfolk–Rainfolk feud and to end the conflict once and for all. In the climax of the battle, Solabis set Aquila's wings ablaze, Lunabis sealed Aquila's divine body, and Seliose struck their hundredth eye. As Aquila fell, Seliose and her companions looked down and saw the faces of the Skyfolk, filled with pure, unshakable terror.
When Seliose touched the Coreflame of Sky, she learned of Aquila's cold indifference and complete apathy toward humanity. Realizing that the long-standing feud between the two tribes had been meaningless, she lost all faith in humanity. She then sent Solabis and Lunabis to the earth to search for forbidden alchemical methods to fuse a Titan's soul with that of a human. After successfully fusing herself with Aquila and seeing how the Skyfolk were still committing atrocities against each other in her name, Seliose ordered Solabis and Lunabis to execute all the Skyfolk, casting them into the golden lava at the Eye of Twilight. One unnamed Chrysos Heir managed to convince Seliose to spare her life, promising her that one day her descendants would return to the Eye of Twilight to prove that humanity could learn from its mistakes. Seliose was skeptical, but amused by her proposal, and let her go on a whim fully expecting her to fail. The unnamed Chrysos Heir's descendants would come to believe they were descended from Seliose herself.[4]
Eventually, Hyacine, the descendant of the unnamed Chrysos Heir, ascended to the Eye of Twilight accompanied by her companion Little Ica, the Trailblazer, Mem, Phainon, and Dan Heng to claim Aquila's Coreflame. There she learned Seliose's past and her true ancestry, and declared to her that she would prove her ancestor's words. After a fierce battle, the Chrysos Heirs managed to defeat Seliose in her Theos Synthetos form, after which Seliose regained her faith in humanity.[4] When Hyacine returned the Coreflame of Sky to the Vortex of Genesis, Seliose expressed deep remorse for her sins.[6]
33,550,337th Eternal Recurrence[]
After the Chrysos Heirs complete Era Nova, Seliose is restored to life in As I've Written as a young girl. She reunites with Solabis and Lunabis, meets Hyacine again, and joins the Twilight Courtyard with Hyacine's support.

Dialogue[]
Beyond Time: An Eternal Page[]
- (First interaction)
- Seliose: "Welcome to the Twilight Courtyard. How can I help you?" ...Like this?
- Hyacine: Smiles, laughter... A warm smile is most important, Lady Seliose.
- Seliose: Hmm... "Welcome to the Twilight Courtyard. How can I help you?"
I don't think the Daythunder Knight can help me.
It's only been a few days since we last saw each other. How'd you get so tiny?- Seliose: Ah, it's you. The child of humanity who ascended to the skies alongside Hyacinthia. It is a pleasure to meet you again.
- Seliose: I have now returned to my original, pure state. I am no longer a warrior goddess wielding a spear, nor the all-seeing Theos Synthetos. I am but an ordinary young girl.
- Hyacine: Haha... Even so, Lady Seliose's way of speaking proved quite persistent...
- Solabis: ...Actually, I think Seliose's current state has... a certain beauty in its contrast.
- Lunabis: I feel the same. Just like during that Action Hour, when a sunshower fell on that bright afternoon...
- Little Ica: Doot, doot-doot!
- Hyacine: Ah! Shh, Little Ica, you shouldn't say things like that...
- Seliose: No need to hide it, I can understand the winged beast's words. "Despite her appearance as a child, her age far exceeds that of ordinary people..."
- Seliose: The pegasus is right. Despite my age, my mind may not be as mature as Hyacinthia's.
- Seliose: I joined the Twilight Courtyard precisely because I wanted to become a physician and study ways to connect with the hearts of the children of humanity.
- Hyacine: It's wonderful that Lady Seliose has such thoughts and aspirations. However, it is no easy feat to become a doctor. You'll need to master entire manuals' worth of knowledge and learn to handle all sorts of situations.
- Hyacine: For example... what should we do if we encounter patients causing trouble in the courtyard?
- Seliose: Causing trouble? Melt... *ahem* Meld with their hearts, understand their needs, patiently guide those with genuine difficulties, and politely turn away those who make unreasonable demands.
You were gonna say "melt," didn't you?
You're not much of a doctor, but know a thing or two about throwing punches?- Seliose: ...Don't be ridiculous! I did not misspeak.
- Hyacine: Ahaha... Lady Seliose is very talented. With time, she'll definitely become an excellent physician!
- Little Ica: Doot-doot!
- (Subsequent interactions)
- Seliose: Hyacinthia says I have a pure and innocent heart. I hope... I won't let her down.
