When Aquila's eyes that gaze upon the land open, the world welcomes light, and as Aquila's eyes close, the world plunges into darkness.
Aquila was one of the Titans on Amphoreus. Their Coreflame is Sky.[5]
Description[]
The Sky Coreflame has been returned.
Aquila, the Titan of the sky, celestial bodies, and the cycle of day and night, was also the Titan that once had the largest realm. They reside above the heavens of Amphoreus, encompassing and watching over the entire world. In most legends, Aquila's pride does not obscure their kindness. They gaze upon humanity, warming the earth and bringing down life-giving rain. However, they can also transform into the most fearsome calamity, harshly punishing any who dare to overcome the sky.
In the tales of Amphoreus, Aquila is depicted as a colossal sky-bird with a hundred eyes. When their eyes open, light fills the world, and when their eyelids fall, darkness envelops the land. In the war against the Calamity Titans, many of Aquila's eyes were "blinded." This is why many city-states in Amphoreus are now shrouded in eternal night.
Aquila is also the god of creation and invention, credited with creating the mechanical beasts scattered across the land. Engineers and mathematicians frequently pay homage to this hundred-eyed deity, hoping to receive inspiration and enlightenment from their blessings.Profile[]
A fleet of skyships by a unknown city-state once tried to leave the planet and head to the stars. In response, Aquila would strike them down, reducing their subjects and the nation to ash once it launched.[6] The Chrysos Heir, Seliose, would challenge Aquila and defeat them, but seeing the very sky about to collapse, abandoned the fight in order to prevent them from crashing down upon the world below.[7]
Following Aglaea's death to Caenis and the Cleaners, Phainon ultimately decided to make a move on Aquila in order to claim their Coreflame, as that was the only one that was yet to be acquired for the Flame-Chase Journey. In order to reach Aquila, they would have to ascend to the "Fortress of Dome" Eye of Twilight. Upon reaching the sky fortress, the group — consisting of Phainon, Hyacine, the Trailblazer, Dan Heng, and Mem — encountered Seilose's companions, Lunabis and Solabis, who saw Hyacine's resolve and agreed to help the group face Aquila. Using the fortress' mechanisms, the group trapped Aquila, defeating and killing them. As the fortress began to collapse on itself, Aquila, now corrupted by the black tide, confronted them again. The group defeated them a second time and escaped the fortress.[8]

Aquila was capable of polarizing the weather around them,[10] could create powerful long-ranged attacks,[8] and possessed the strength to destroy entire city-states.[6]
Crepuscular Beasts[]
The Crepuscular Beasts are legendary beasts created by Aquila in collaboration with Kephale after forging the Dawn Device in the ancient Era Creatura. Their appearance embodies the Titans.[11][12][13]
- The

Meteoric Eagle is whispered to be a symbol of Aquila's celestial feathers that occasionally fall to the mortal realm.[11] - The

Moonlit Pegasus is believed to represent Aquila's eternal rival, Oronyx.[12] - The

Noontide Gryphon is said to represent Aquila after opening their eyes to bestow light upon the world.[13]
