Apocalytic Shadow is a game mode part of Treasures Lightward in Interastral Peace Guide.

Location[]

Overview[]

Apocalyptic Shadow consists of two halves with one enemy on each side, either a Boss or Echo of War. They share many similarities with their original counterpart, but tend to have mechanics that make the fight different.

There are four stages that are offered, with the enemy strength being 60/70/80/90 for level 1/2/3/4 respectively. Alongside the increased stats, a new mechanic is added on top of existing mechanics on the higher levels.

Players must select a minimum of two characters (one on each half) before a stage can be attempted. These characters cannot be used multiple times, so players must choose wisely. Changing them will result in the previous record being wiped, although reward thresholds will still be retained. Additionally, the player is able to choose one of three unique buffs to that half to help improve the team's performance.

In all iterations of Apocalyptic Shadow, both enemies always have the "Steadfast Guard" buff on them, which reduces incoming DMG dealt to them. This is briefly dispelled when Weakness Break is inflicted on them, and the team will generally gain a wide array of buffs. While the buffs vary, they are incredibly powerful and players should try to deplete Toughness bars when possible.

When a fight starts, the player is given a point value of 2000. This decreases whenever an allied unit performs an action outside of Ultimates or follow-up attacks. If this point value hits 0 or the player quits, they will conclude that half and gain points proportional to the amount of DMG dealt to the boss. Every boss gives a total of 2000 points when defeated, so the maximum possible value from each half is 8,000, although this is impossible to achieve due to how the player point value is calculated.

After defeating the second boss, the stage ends and the game calculates the total points from both halves for the total score. In order to obtain full rewards from each stage, the player must obtain a total of 6,600 points across both halves.

The player is able to bypass the lower stages depending on their progress made in the previous iteration of Apocalyptic Shadow. For example, clearing the final stage with full stars allows the player to quick-start on level 3.

Nameless Honor Missions[]

This event added additional "This Period" Nameless Honor missions to the Nameless Honor. The Nameless EXP obtained from these missions do not count towards the weekly experience limit of 8,000 The Nameless EXP.
