I saw a doctor with Athena Health whom I had seen in 2013. Something has changed dramatically. He only spent 10 minutes with me, frightened me and told me my tests were abnormal. I had them repeated by another physician and they were “normal” based on my history. The bill was outrageous and I am now getting calls. I work for the railroad and my BCBS is excellent. His bill for 10 minutes was calculated at over $400. I have met my deductible and I was in total shock to be treated so unkindly. I was up front with him and told him why I was there.
