GNI implements its mission through four strategic pillars:

  • Providing a Framework for responsible business conduct based on international human rights standards;
  • Fostering Accountability for company members through a unique multistakeholder, independent assessment process;
  • Enabling shared Learning on key trends and emerging developments in the tech sector; &
  • Enabling Policy advocacy to promote human rights in the tech sector.

GNI collaborates with a range of actors across all of these lines-of-effort, including international, multilateral, and other multistakeholder organizations and initiatives.
