The Georgetown Ambassadors for Women, Peace and Security

A network of women leaders who come together to amplify GIWPS’ impact.

The Georgetown Ambassadors program invites powerful women from around the globe to meaningfully collaborate with GIWPS, with each other, and with women on the frontlines of global change.

Founded in 2020 and chaired by Anisya Fritz, the program is collective impact in action. Georgetown Ambassadors are a powerful community of women who are immersed in the work of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security and do their part to lift up women from around the world.

Georgetown Ambassadors gather throughout the year to examine the global state of women with government leaders, scholars, and courageous women building peace. The Georgetown Ambassador program has two signature events annually: a summit in Washington, D.C. and an curated International Travel Experience (revolving locations). Throughout the year, Georgetown Ambassadors are given exclusive access to GIWPS events, publications, and virtual programming. Georgetown Ambassadors also have opportunities to meet with women on the frontlines of change. Georgetown Ambassadors make an annual tax-deductible gift to sustain the work of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security.
