Becomes unresponsive when editing a grid

Summary:

Editing a grid in document properties makes Inkscape unresponsive, with GNOME suggestion to kill it appearing.

Steps to reproduce:

All I have to do to reproduce this is to go to

  • open Inkscape
  • Go to File -> Document Properties -> Grids
  • Add a grid if one is not already there
  • Edit a field in that grid, say, the gap on the X axis
  • Click off the field

This results in inkscape becoming unresponsive and GNOME proposing to me that I kill it. I tried waiting around half an hour, and it did not become responsive. I also tried disabling OpenGL (maybe it was some graphics driver issue) but it didn't help.

Can reproduce this consistently with 100% success rate. Waiting does not help.

What happened?

Inkscape became unresponsive. Waiting

What should have happened?

Grid parameters changed
