previous/next zoom key shortcuts, version 1.4

Summary:

The previous/next zoom keyboard shortcuts do not work properly. Sometimes, they don't do anything at all. When they do change the zoom level, they often change it to some level that has not actually been used in the current session.

I don't know the name of this key, but it's in the upper-left corner of the keyboard, directly under the Esc key. The uppercase of this key is called "tilde", so that's what I'll call it here.

Edit -- I should say this is using the app image package of 1.4.

Steps to reproduce:

-- Draw a couple of random objects, to help in creating a few different zoom levels.

-- Create a few zoom levels, by whatever technique you prefer.

-- Press tilde and/or Shift + tilde, to try to achieve the previous or next zoom.

What happened?

Sometimes nothing happens....as often as pressing the key changes the zoom, it does nothing at all. When it does change the zoom level, usually it goes to a zoom level that I have not used in the current session.

What should have happened?

Pressing the tilde key should change the zoom to either the immediately previous zoom, or the next zoom (if you have zoomed in and out a few times already). Before this happened, this feature worked flawlessly, and I use it heavily. But this key/feature is essentially useless, in its current state.

Version info

I've actually been away from Inkscape for a couple of years, so I'm not sure exactly when this problem started. The last version where I know this feature worked properly was 0.92.3. Also I should say that I've migrated from Windows to Linux, so there's a chance this is a problem with Linux that I have not discovered yet. However, I've looked into my Linux keyboard shortcuts, and nothing seems to be using this key.
