Colour Emoji Fonts Cause Whole Computer Freeze

Summary:

When I try to use text in a colour emoji font like Noto Color Emoji, Inkscape freezes my whole computer.

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• Add some text
• Set the font to a colour emoji font like Noto Color Emoji
• Input some emoji text into the text box

What happened?

Not only does Inkscape immediately freeze; the whole computer becomes unresponsive, forcing me to restart.

What should have happened?

Ideally the emoji should have worked pretty much the same as other unicode characters, so long as they're supported by the font.
