In text tool, pasting a Unicode "Symbol For Space" character causes characters to move leftward instead of rightward
Summary:
I have a text frame with three lines, each beginning with four real spaces then some text.
When I try to paste a Unicode "U+2420: Symbol For Space" (␠) character before the first non-space text into a text frame,
- On the second and third lines, the character pastes as expected and the text moves rightward.
- On the first line, the character pastes as expected but the text moves leftward.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the image below in Inkscape.
- Select the text frame with the text tool.
- Copy one of the "Symbol for Space" characters.
- Paste it before the
line␠1text.
What happened?
The text content moves leftware.
What should have happened?
The text content should move rightward.
