Objects Dialog search not working (still pops up)

Steps to reproduce:

• open Inkscape
• open the Objects dialog
• create a few objects
• select an item via the Objects dialog
• Ctrl+F to activate search
• type the name of an object

What happened?

• search no longer works

What should have happened?

• search works (like in the layers dialog)

Version Info:

• Inkscape 1.0 (4035a4fb, 2020-05-01) appimage, Linux Mint 19.1
• Inkscape 1.1-dev (838ae0f2, 2020-07-14, custom) Linux Mint 19.1
• Bisection points to commit 75baf74e
